Location & Directions
Mount Vernon is a picturesque, historic Indiana river town in Posey County nestled between the Wabash and Ohio rivers. Established in 1816, Mount Vernon quickly found its place as a key port for Ohio river barge transport, a position it still holds today. If you are able to visit us the second weekend in September, please plan some extra time to enjoy our River Days celebration and take in the view from our newly renovated riverfront.

Our dealership is easy to find from any direction. The nearest major North-South corridor is US Highway 41 (parts of which are becoming Interstate 69) with Interstate 64 being the East-West corridor.
From the NORTH: Take US 41 South or Interstate 69 South to Interstate 64 West, then take Exit 4 (IN 69 S) toward New Harmony (you are about 21 miles from us at this point), as IN 69 approaches Mt. Vernon, it will make a hard left, DO NOT TURN, continue straight ahead (this will become Main St.). You will come to a traffic light at our courthouse square. Continue through town until the 2-lane splits to 4-lane and turn left onto Old Highway 62. G.A.S., Inc. is the 2nd building to the east on your right.
From the SOUTH: Take US 41 North to the Lloyd Expressway/IN 62 in Evansville, IN. Go west on the Lloyd/IN 62 until you reach Mt. Vernon where the 4-lane will come back to 2 lanes, turn right onto Old highway 62. G. A. S., Inc. is the 2nd building on your right.
From the EAST or WEST: Take Interstate 64 East or West, depending on your location, then take Exit 4 (IN 69 S) toward New Harmony (you are about 21 miles from us at this point), as IN 69 approaches Mt. Vernon, it will make a hard left, DO NOT TURN, continue straight ahead (this will become Main St.). You will come to a traffic light at our courthouse square. Turn left and continue through town until the 2-lane becomes 4-lane. Turn left onto Old Highway 62. G. A. S., Inc. is the 2nd building on your right.
